Rendez vous with Nature

MEDOC

Rendez vous with Nature

Get close to nature by entering the Medoc Peninsula bordered by the Gironde Estuary and its small charming fishing huts perched above the water that are to be seen during a stop on the waterfront.

The day tour points out the importance of soil and weather conditions, which the French translate into one word : terroir.

The Medoc is the homeland of the most Great Classified Growths (classification of 1855) and benefits from a unique terroir where man’s skill has enabled the traditional grapes to reveal their best qualities with their characteristic elegance and subtlety.

Whether they are organic or biodynamic, you will discover traditional methods of wine-making that are more respectful of nature and that are used by more and more winegrowers rediscovering the benefits and virtues of such methods.

You will also admire many Châteaux of varied and stunning architecture along the famous “Châteaux Road” and taste some of the prestigious red wines produced in the world known appellations such as Margaux, Saint Julien, Pauillac.
