Between River, Stones and Vines

HAUTE GIRONDE

Between River, Stones and Vines
Between sumptuous landscapes and a varied preserved fauna, you will discover the historical and religious heritage of an area which covers the prehistoric, the Gallo-roman and the Middle Ages periods.

You will follow small picturesque roads among the rolling vineyards and discover little villages with their stone houses, Romanesque churches and delightful little harbours.

You will admire the numerous family run wine estates of unique architecture, offering a magnificent view over the Gironde estuary, the Green Island and the Médoc region.

You will taste the local fruity, full bodied red wines and the aromatic dry white wines of the Blaye-Bourg area whose charming landscape combines water, stones and vines.
